If you don’t have a tripod it’s hard to minimize the shake without it’s stability what you can do instead is use your body as a stabilizer.
Instead of holding your camera out from your body…
- Keep your camera close to the body
- Use both hands to hold the camera
- Keep your elbows in.
To pan your camera hold it in the above position and move your body from side to side or up and down (instead of moving your arms.)
Also, Remember to have your subject as close as possible and not zoom in while recording.
